This quote was dreamt up by IQ Co-Founder Mike Williams after considering the possibility that modern-day football is becoming over-complicated
Whilst Mike acknowledges that the classic 4-4-2 formation is seen as being ‘old school’ in some quarters, he believes it’s the most exciting way to play football: “I created this quote because, in my heart, 4-4-2 as a formation has brought me the most pleasure… football played with two wingers and the emphasis on attack. It’s a dying formation, but I truly believe that my team should always play this formation; it’s simple football for fans who know what they want.
